Experience
I am a professor of Unix Shell Programming and Mathematics at Fairleigh Dickinson University as well as a professor of Computer Concepts at Montclair State University. The subjects that I am familiar with and enjoy tutoring include Math, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, IB Computer Science SL and HL, IB Design Technology SL and HL, IB Information Technology in a Global Society SL and HL, and SAT preparation. My academic history begins with a bachelor's degree in Engineering with Stevens Institute of Technology and a master's degree in Computer Science from the Fairleigh Dickinson University Metropolitan Campus. These studies have informed my professorial teaching techniques for the past twenty years and I continue to stay on top of the latest trends in the profession. As a professor, I take my studies seriously and expect the same of my students. However, I do feel it's important to enjoy the teaching process! I frequently make use of humorous anecdotes in creating examples for my learners. My leadership also continues outside the classroom, where, among other activities, I volunteer as a scout leader and coach lacrosse.
